Spoetnik Orkestar are an eight piece band perfectly formed in Alkmaar, North Holland in early 2008. We play an exciting blend of East European "folk" dance music in our own original stylee. Making friends and influencing people wherever we play with our own take on "Balkan" music. Our influences range from ska/reggae, electronica, folk, punk and even folkpunk! Throw all that into the mix and you have the one and only SPOETNIK! We'll play your wedding. We'll play your divorce! We'll play your birthday and We'll play your funeral (quietly!)
With an enticing mix of Instruments including accordion, violin, mandolin, trumpet and saxophone and with extensive gigging around Holland and U.K. tours under our belt we are guaranteed to get that party started!
